Who are we?

The importance of the fascia ist growing rapidly. We are also concerned with this excitement for many years. In collaboration with researchers, movers, therapists and clinics its meaning became clearer and clearer to. We thought it was absolute necessary to do more research on this tissue and thus we founded the “Association for Fascia Research e.V”. It supports studies that deal directly and indirectly with the fascia work. Our goal is to advance research and bring this knowledge into the world of health.

What is our goals?

Basically, our overarching goals are to advance fascia research, inspire movers, doctors and therapists for the fascia and clarify the importance of this structure for those professions.

This should be achieved, for example, by supporting studies. The current focus is on “Effects of therapeutic interventions like yoga and cupping on the mobility of the shoulder joints and arms after breast surgery ”. The aim of this study is maintain postoperative arm mobility in women with breast cancer so that they can be able to cope with everyday life independently and painlessly.

Conducting studies requires dedication, enthusiasm and resources. For a valid research it take good implementation, which in return requires financial support.
